request to edit;
[edit]Under "external links / articles" an article is listed with an inflammatory description rather than the actual title of the article. The actual article title is: "Guest post on ENDA from Congressman Barney Frank" [1]
it is titled in the article by an editor as "Congressman Frank defends trans-exclusive Employment Non-Discrimination Act". If a description of the article is more appropriate than the actual title of the article, then something like "Congressman Frank explains his position on ENDA".
I'd also note that this is a very minor part of Congressman Frank's long record on a very wide range of national and state issues, and this Wikipedia article should reflect a broader range of his positions and achievements in the articles section. In fact most of the articles are generally biographical in scope, and this is the only topic specific article. I'd add more (eg financial) if I could edit.

Please delete a certain sentence in the introduction.
[edit]At the end of the introduction to this article about Barney Frank, there is a sentence that claims Frank served a term in the Massachusetts Senate from 1979 to 1981. That statement is inconsistent with other info found throughout the article and it is incorrect. Frank never served any terms in the state Senate; he was elected to four terms in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, serving in that body from 1973 to 1981, before he then got elected to Congress. I suggest that the entire sentence be deleted. Vincent Labine (talk) 22:29, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

The censorship in this country is horrific. People don't want to know the truth. They would rather believe lies. Someday, the truth WILL come out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cybil T. (talk • contribs) 03:02, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
Facts
[edit]Barney Franks was a law abiding citizen who had "relations" only with adult men, not with underage boys during the late 1970s to early 1980s. No need to fact check this. It has already been confirmed by multiple sources. He never committed sex crimes against children. Cybil T. (talk) 03:11, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Cybil T., do you have an issue with the page that needs changed. Wikipedia is not a forum. P37307 (talk) 03:56, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
Matthews Hall, Kirkland House, Winthrop House
[edit]Why is it important to know and mention which residence halls/ houses Frank inhabited while at Harvard? Toddcs (talk) 03:34, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
The name by which he's universally known
[edit]This man is known in virtually all circumstances as "Barney" Frank, yet there's no indication of it in the article and it can only be found (seemingly incongruously) in the Infobox. I would suggest inserting, within the parentheses after his birthdate, "commonly known as Barney Frank" (the nickname and last name emboldened). Could there be any objection to this? 05:58, 4 March 2024 (UTC) Rontrigger (talk) 05:58, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
